The personnel who make up the AquA team are highly qualified, professional, and experienced. Together, these qualities enable AquA to provide each of our clients with the most complete ground water services. Since 1990, David Carlson, Principal of AquA Hydrogeologic Consulting (AquA), has been assisting the Truckee Donner Public Utility District (TDPUD) in the development of additional ground water supplies to meet the district's increasing demands.
The hydrogeologic services that have been provided include the following:

Geologic mapping to define exploration drilling targets.

Supervision of the drilling and construction of two exploration wells that provided detailed information that was used to design the Prosser Heights (800 gpm) and Glenshire Drive (2,000 gpm) Production Wells.

Supervision of the chemical and physical rehabilitation of the Northside Production Well, which resulted in the well's improved yield and water quality.

Project management for exploration drilling at the Featherstone and Joerger Road drill-sites. Based on exploration results, a production well was designed and constructed at the Joerger Road site. Production pumping at the Joerger Road well is 2,000 gpm.

Supervision of the water quality collection from selected zones at the Featherstone exploration well. Selected sampling confirmed that the water quality is excellent. A production well will be drilled here in the future.
